Vishal Jain, General Manager at 1 Cyber Valley, is reflecting on his remarkable one-year journey as the company celebrates its 4th anniversary. Over the past year, Vishal has played a pivotal role in driving innovation, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing cybersecurity solutions to uphold the highest standards of payment security. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence and resilience, ensuring that 1 Cyber Valley continues to be a trusted partner in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. As he looks back on his contributions and growth, Vishal remains committed to steering the company toward greater success in the years ahead.
How have you found your first year as part of 1CV?
- I have found it amazing. I had a great time and have gotten opportunities to work on various compliances such as PCI, ISO 27001, UKGC, SOC 2, HIPAA and so on. If I compare, when I joined and today, I can see tremendous growth on both, personal and professional levels. I think, it was a year well spent.
How have you found working alongside the team in 1CV?
- I enjoy working with my colleagues, we are a cosmopolitan team consisting of vibrant and energetic people from different parts of the world, with one goal - to make 1 Cyber Valley a huge success. We have a team of professionals based out of the UK, India, Ireland and the Middle East, so we can cater to the companies across the globe. Diversity is at the core of 1 Cyber Valley and I have been personally enlightened with so many new cultures, traditions and festivals. It is always rewarding to work with great people around.
How has the relationship between you and some of our clients blossomed in your first year at 1CV?
- This question just reminded me of some really good friends I made in this past one year. My relationship with many of our clients has not only prospered at professional level, but at personal level as well. Now, I have friends in Qatar, the UK, Oman, Spain, Sri Lanka, USA and many other countries. I can say that we work really hard but also know when to reap the fruits of our hard work.
How has 1CV differed from any info-sec companies you have previously worked for?
- 1 CV has an amazing working environment, where open door policy is literally in place, all the concerns are heard and all the challenges are taken care of. We champion autonomy within 1 Cyber Valley, however, if and when needed, the team is always ready to support in any way possible. Additionally, everyone at 1 CV always has pool of opportunities in front of them to learn and grow.
What does the next year ahead have in store for you? What would you like to achieve in the next year?
- This past year was all about building a solid foundation for me. What I mean is, now I am more familiar with the team’s personal and professional traits, client’s expectations and their ways of working, management’s expectations and company’s growth graph and I will be focusing on the improvement of all these. Over the coming year, I will be working on better utilizating all the resources to ensure top quality service and deliverables to all our clients, to meet the management’s expectations and to assist in increasing the company’s growth.
What has been your personal highlight of your first year at 1CV?
- I would have to say it is the personal growth in my knowledge and overall career. For someone like me, who is extremely passionate about his work and information security, 1 CV is full of endless opportunities and is the perfect place to grow. I believe in the past one year, every new project and new challenge was a personal highlight, as it provided me with an opportunity to learn something new and helped me to grow personally.
